My favourite cake tins
Over the years I’ve tested out so many different recipes and baking times, temperatures etc and after lots of attempts I’ve finally nailed it! People ask me to share my recipes with them but I try and explain its not as simple as just giving them a list of ingredients to use. Its about how you mix the ingredients together, how long you mix the ingredients for, how long you bake for and another important factor…..what cake tins you use!
These anodised aluminium cake tins from PME are a total game changer. They are lovely and thick which keeps the heat consistent when baking your cakes and helps to stop the edges cooking too quick and browning.
I have four full sets in sizes 4″-12″ and they are worth every penny. They stack neatly inside one another and they clean up really easy in hot soapy water and still look brand new after many many uses. I use the 3″ deep tins.
